Car rental conditions
Payment is made according to a commercial course on a current day in the national currency.
Car rental tariffs
Car rental tariffs without drivers include lubricating material expenses, technical service, Third Party Liability insurance but don’t include fuel costs.
Hire periods are calculated on a 24-hour basis. If returning a vehicle is delayed for more than 3 hours then rental costs are also taken for the next 24 hours. A vehicle used for 1-3 days must have a day range up to 200km. If the day range is more than 200km then total rental costs are 10% higher. Long-period car renting is provided with discounts.
Insurance deposit
Insurance deposit amount depends on a car model and is paid before the pick-up time. The deposit is given back to the leaseholder immediately after returning the car to the lessor. If the client pays through a card (Visa, Master etc.) insurance deposit amount is blocked on the card according to the rental contract.
Minimum hiring age
The minimum hiring age according to a rental contract is 21 years. The leaseholder must bring a current driving licence which he/she must have held for over 2 years. The leaseholder must bring a passport. The driver license must be valid in Ukraine. The lessor can refuse to make a rental contract in such cases:
- the driver age is under 21 years
- the driving license has been held for less than 2 years
- the lessor has a written notice about the Highway Code violation of the driver during the last 2 years.
Minimum rental period
Minimum rental period is 24 hours. There is no minimum limit range of the rental car.
Leaseholder responsibilities
In cases of hijacking the leased car, car parts damage, glasses damage, fire and other malefactors or leaseholder actions that led to the car and its property damage, the leaseholder carries responsibility in accordance with the insurance contract.
The leaseholder carries responsibility within the insurance deposit amount in the case of car damage according to the calculation of car expertise insurance bureau if:
- the damage is a result of the leaseholder guilt;
- the malefactor is not found (including hijacking and car damage cases);
- there is no document from the traffic police confirming the leaseholder innocence.
The leaseholder carries responsibility for the technical and operating condition of the car during the lease period in accordance with the insurance contract. If an accident or damage are caused by:
- alcohol influence;
- not fulfilling the conditions and terms of the contract;
- the Highway Code violation;
the leaseholder compensates all expenses on car repair caused by the accident/damage. If the insurance deposit amount is less than the insurance franchise the leaseholder pays extra sum of money to the lessor. All administrative fines made during the rental period are paid by the leaseholder. In the case of receiving a prescript concerning administrative offences on the vehicle during the rental period the lessor gives all the documents (the car rental contract, the prescript, receipts etc.) to the traffic police in the interior ministry of Ukraine. After this the leaseholder must pay a fine in a term defined by law and give the paid receipts to the lessor in a 10 days period.
Using a rental car outside Kyiv
The leaseholder can use the rental car outside Kyiv on the territory of Ukraine without extra payments. In cases of accident, car damage or robbery the leaseholder is responsible to pay for the car transportation to Kyiv, its temporary keeping and small repair if needed. The lessor can provide only with informational maintenance.
Picking-up and dropping-off a rental car
Picking-up and dropping-off our rental car is held at the company office: Krasnogvardeiskaya street 27a, office 5. Transfer is possible. Transfer cost: in Kyiv, railway station – 20$, airport – 30$, during not working time, days-off and on holidays: in Kyiv – 30$, airport – 40$.
Additional car equipment
In winter all our vehicles are provided with “winter” tires. You can find out about additional car equipment at the section Additional service and equipment.
Additional drivers
Additional driver must satisfy the requirements of minimum driving age. He/she must show his/her driving license and leave its copy at the office.
Fuel
All vehicles are given to our clients with full fuel tank but fuel cost isn’t included in the rental cost. The leaseholder must return a vehicle also with a full fuel tank. If the tank isn’t full then the leaseholder pays the rest of the fuel cost in accordance with the contract. The leaseholder can pay the fuel cost of the rental car in advance.
Fines
In cases of loosing or stealing car documents, keys, state car number, intentional wheel damage the insurance deposit is given back to the client not in a full amount. For each case the fine is 100 euro according to the National Bank of Ukraine course on a current day.
Attention!
In cases of accidents, car damage, injury or robbery THE LEASEHOLDER MUST CALL THE POLICE NO MATTER IF THERE IS HIS/HER FAULT OR NOT.
The leaseholder must inform the lessor about the accident in 24 hours. Otherwise the leaseholder is fully responsible for the accident.
